My name is Kirsten VandenBiesen. I am a photographer and graphic designer in the Rockford, Illinois area. For as long as I can remember I have been passionate about drawing, painting, and creating art. Eventually my passion grew with capturing amazing moments and creating designs that spark growth in brands. Growing up in the country right outside of Durand, Illinois offered plenty of opportunities for photos of nature and landscapes. Then I moved on to offering photography services for senior pictures, weddings, and couples.
Once it was time for college I decided to earn my degree in Graphic Design. This allows me to offer many services in my career including creating logos, branding, printables, editing photos, completing photo shoots, and much more! Finding new ways to create art is something I like to do in my free time; woodburning, image transfers to wood, and new ways to use Adobe Programs.

Education
I graduated from Madison Media Institute in 2016 with my Associates Degree in Graphic Design. Previous to college I had spent many years learning the skills necessary to my profession. I had taken 4 years of art courses and 2 years of graphic design courses. All while I studied independently to learn skills outside of class.
Experience
I am currently employed full time as a Graphic Designer. I have also worked with clients to produce freelance products and complete photoshoots. I strive for professionalism, brand identity for myself and others, and excellence.
